Hell yeah!
It's been a while since i played Rune Factory, be it the 1st or 2nd.
I'm actually quite impressed with myself that I actually defeated the bosses in Rune Factory!!
I don't know why but in the 1st and 2nd, even before I defeated the 1st boss, i got sick of the game, and quitted.
But man... Rune Factory 3 changed my gaming history..

lolPlot: Compared to the 1st and 2nd, this one was mehhh... Like so so.
I mean, it is still the same concept, lost memory.
Gosh, Natsume, time for you to recruit new workers for fresh ideas. I got sick of a 'lost memory' concept.
Also their other normal game like Grand Bazaar and stuff, stranded into an island..? =_=
Characters: Ok, I'm gonna talk alot here.
Micah (the main character aka us playing)
For me, he's the GIRLIEST hero in Rune Factory. See the development:
I like Kyle. Haha
simply because of his simple hairstyle and it's Maaya Sakamoto who voiced him.
Raguna was alright, he fits those ancient era with his hair and clothing.
But imagine if Raguna is in Kyle's haircut...hehe..
He might be my next fav after Kyle!
Well he already is..
What amused me about Micah is that he can turn into a Wooly, he's half monster half human.
But to me, the original Wooly (right) is still cuter.
Now now, I kinda hope that Rune Factory would give us a chance to choose who we wanted to play as, a girl or a boy. Because there are a number of cute guys in Rune Factory!
Well they did gave us a choice in the 2nd one but it's only when we go to the 2nd generation..
Gosh.. Rune Factory 3 made me think like this, i didn't think about this in the 1st or 2nd, because Gaius and Zaid are cute!!!
awww~~ believe it or not, even though i'm playing a boy, i actually raised my friendship with these two as if i'm trying to marry them.
I'm sorry Micah, I turned you into a bi ;)

They just caught my attention.. hahaha
But i was kinda disappointed that they didn't include Shino as one of the bachelorettes. She's beautiful and reminds me alot of Felicity from Rune Factory 1.
Some of you may complain why i didn't include Shara or Raven there.

Shara reminds me of Manna and Mist ALOT.. Except that she's smarter and normal-er..

The other girls are so so to me, but the one that catches my attention the most is
PIA.
Man this girl is weird.
Yes i know that she's pretty.. (I almost consider her my no 1 bachelorettes)

and sometimes in most of our conversation, she seems to be a bit childish and dumb.. so i'm like ".............no........"
THE BAD:
- WTF?? I never knew that Rune Factory 3 has a limit when it comes to planting!
I have alot of crops plated and i was sure that the next day will be when it will fruits. But guess what..?
There was NO hurricanes,
NO storm,
NO rain whatsoever,
and when i woke up on the next day, ALL MY CROPS ARE GONE! 
Well.. There are couples.. like, one or two ..

That pisses me off.

I mean, normally u paid 290 for a bag of seed which can cover 9 tiles, but here you paid 140 for a bag of seed that only cover ONE - FREAKING - TILES !!!

*ahem* i know i should be studying for my exam right now, but i stole my precious two hours to relax to play this game :D
Im currently at the peak of my stage where i only have to click a button to get my ending. But i couldnt help to post a review here already! (another excuse to get away from my study)
Anyways, one thing you guys should know first, im not reviewing the game as in telling you guys the route and everything. You can always find that in 4shiki, a blog dedicated to reviewing otome games. You can only found the 2nd one there, im still looking for the 1st one too.
Oh and im playing the english version. I tried the Japanese one, and i couldnt understand most of the things. Gotta learn and memorise some kanji...
Ok first, Plot: 4/10
I can't really give this a high score since I don't think there is a thick plot in here. We basically are supposed to "live" our life daily. But the small plot is only at the very beginning before we play the game. There's this young boy the heroine met at the church behind the school, and i'm sure the game is asking you to find out who they boy was (my guess is Hazuki).
The score for every character's CG is included too. There are no *touching* moments there nor any suspense. It's just so so.
Art: 6/10
The art is fine but maybe because i've been reading too many manga, i was expecting something cooler. Some boys are not as bishies as how i expect them to be. Guess this game depicts the reality?? lol
Overall enjoyment: 8/10

You need to fulfill a certain degree of level (academic, art, charm, etc) to get the guy you like, and obviously it's not easy. But this is the type of game where you can finish a guy's route within a day. So if you are trying to go for all the guys' route, might took you less than 9 days straight.

Characters:
1. Hazuki Kei
At first i wasn't really interested in him but since he's one of the only 3 bishonens i can find in this game, i decided to go for him. His route is actually not bad, after dating him a few times, i actually 'enjoyed' it.
I like his personality too: can't say 'no' to people, he pays alot of attention to style.
But he's such a pain in the ass when it comes to getting his affection up. He's one of the hardest one for me, but i managed to get him :DD
2. Himuro Reiichi
The homeroom teacher.
Normally, i wouldn't go for a teacher but again.. he's one that will caught your attention at the beginning of the game. Most of the times though, i can't stand his super serious personality, and his questions during our 'study trip date'.
But he's really fun to chase. You know the moment where you worked hard for something and later you felt super happy when you get a reward no matter how simple it is :D
3. Suzuka Kazuma
The... Jock..? No, the sporty one.
Even though it says that he's the jock on the web, i can't say that he is so. I don't see many fangirls squirming around him or anything. But i do believe that he is really good a basketball and suck at studying.
I love his outgoing personality. If all of the characters here are real people, i think i would get along with him more than anyone. He really is the type that will have fun with you whereever you go.
4. Wataru Hibiya
I'm sure that he should be the shota type but his face is not telling me so.
He's a year below the main heroine, and a Hazuki-wannabe.
Apparently he's been tryign to copy and aspiring to be someone like Hazuki. Like, he actually take a few photos of himself mimicking Hazuki'd model photoshoot. XD
But i found that very cute. I don't mind having a kouhai like him. :)
5. Mihara Shiki
One of the guy i most wanted to avoid.
For some reason he's pissing me off.. for being too easy?
In the game, there's a 'skinship' section where you can poke the character anywhere using your stylus or mous if you are using an emulator. The skinship also boost / lower the character's affection level, depending on where you are touching and how often it is.
Anyways, this guy.. Whenever we go on a date.. Whereever i'm 'touching' him, he was like.. urgh.. flirting but in a disgusting flanboyant way.
If you are calling this the prince type, i demand SUOU TAMAKI NOW!!
6. Sakuya Morimura
The Megane character.
He's nice.
He's very nice.
He's super duper very nice!
nothing much that i can say about him since those 3 sentences that i just typed describes him perfectly.
7. Madoka Kijo
The.. idontknow.
At first, i thought he was the rebellious character but eh no?
When i followed his route and getting to know him, i find out his past and it's just so.. sad... ;(
He's such a nice guy too!
8. The REAL rebellious guy.
Handsome right???? yup, only in this picture. In most of the CG, he looks so so to me. But he's AWESOME!
8. Amanohasi Ikkaku
OMFG i almost choked on my drink when i found out that he is one of the eligible bachelor!
I mean, he's the school principal which in another word, he is 40+, which means he's a pedophile if he dates the heroine, and which people will think the heroine is a gold digger for dating him!
But i gotta admit, he's the REAL prince type in this game. Get lost, Mihara.
The way he speaks is very polite and formal, and always referring the heroine as 'milady'.
sigh.. if only he was 20 years younger and look as handsome as Tamaki, i'll pursue him.
9. Chiharu Aoki
Cute! XD
But chasing after him is tiring because i have to go shopping.. shopping... shopping.. shopdfsn.. asjdkasjdn...
I don't have much to comment about the girl characters here, since none of you otome would be interested anyway.
Overall, this otome game is not bad.
I haven't played much of otome games, and this game is my 10th one if you allow me to count harvest moon ;)

Otome Games... oh Otome Games.. WHY ARE YOU ONLY AVAILABLE IN JAPANESE!?!?!

ONE. If you tell me to learn Japanese to be able to play it, imagine!
Maybe the moment i've mastered the Japanese needed to understand this is when i've lost interest in the games, which in another word = LOSS for you!
TWO. If you translate it and released it in english = PROFIT even though not tht much but at least enough to cover your cost for this production no?

THREE. If you translate and released it in english = YOU ARE HELPING THE HUMANITY! Not only by making the english fandom comes true, but you are also decreasing the number of unemployment!
I've been eyeing Otome Games since few years ago, and IDEA FACTORY kinda gave us a ray of hope which been 'abandoned' 1 - 2 years ago.. =_= no news from them.

I've set my eyes on the characters that my fav seiyuu are voicing. =p

Summary:
Based on Idea Factory's romance adventure game: Yukimura Chizuru has come to Kyoto looking for her father, a doctor who has gone missing. While there, she witnesses a fight between Rasetsu and the Shinsengumi. Taking her into custody, the Shinsengumi debates on what to do with Chizuru when they discover that she is the daughter of the doctor they are also looking for. The Shinsengumi then takes Chizuru along on their search after the missing doctor, from adventures to adventures.
Finally finished the whole episodes in a few hours, yay! There are a total of 12 episodes in total. I'll put the review below the video since it will be a big spoiler. and here's the link if you guys want to watch it:

Score: 7/10 mainly because of the bishies.
Plot:
It is interesting, for me. I like history, so yeah...but this one is not the real history since they kinda changed some of the real facts but the characters name in there are all REAL names from the history.
I suggest you guys to not open wikipedia and look at their photos because you won't want to stare at ajusshi (aka oojisan) after looking at the bishies ;p
I'm sure when you watched the first episode you might not like it because they focused more on the history instead of romance. And since this was originated from Otome Games, some scenes involving different guys are inserted but the main love interest here is Hijikata.
Like some love moments in the game with Okita, Saitou, etc etc are inserted as small segment. I was kinda upset since because of that, there aren't that many scenes of Saitou there.. ;(
But i'm glad he didn't end up with that annoying b*tch.. =_=
I was kinda upset how each of the bishies turns to be an Oni (aka devil) one by one. In the story, Chizuru's father created a potion to turn a human into an Oni, and his father is on a run because of this creation. Apparently Kazama is unhappy with this because Kazama himself is a pure-blood Oni while these people are just fakes. Anyway, drinking the potion will help them in healing wounds really fast and better moves etc etc.. but everytime the bishies are down, they always ended up drinking it.. So far it's only Souji, Sannan, Heisuke, and Hijikata who drank it. I think Saitou will soon too at the 2nd season..
Characters:
Well.. they are all handsome.. but.. let me complain about the heroine, THIS IS A MUST. If you guys actually read the comments, alot of people are complaining about the heroine in almost every episode. I just hate the fact that she is being really useless there!
Okay, on the 1st episode, she claimed that she can use the short sword she owned and carried with her. Saitou wanted to make sure of it thus he asked her to go at him all out, however, she was easily defeated within a few seconds.
It was okay for me.. I mean, no matter how good you are in handling sword, going against the Shinsengumi is already impossible to win, this refers to you Chizuru (protagonist).
I thought that at least she would draw her sword when an emeny attacked her. but guess what she did?
she screamed..
Yeah, she screamed..
just that..
nothing else...
and almost at every minute, one of the shinsengumi will come to help her.
I mean, you have that fuckin sword, USE IT for damn sake!!!!!
Well there is a time when she almost draw her sword.. but it was ruined by Oni at the last episode.. =_= I would make up my mind about her if Oni didn't stop her.
It's her time to prove to the viewers that she's not as annoying as heck.
and and.. and at the last episode where they are going to towards a headquaters asking for a reinforcement, they were betrayed. A soldier shoot a bullet on them. Gen, who went with her, pulled her hands to run away.
Guess what she did?
She was still asking, "B..But the reinforcement.."
Oh.. my.. gosh... Chizuru.. Hello??? someone just shot a bullet on you.. and you are still thinking about reinforcement?
At this moment, i kinda hoped that the heroine was Haruhi from Ouran.

Yup he's the protagonist's love interest in the anime. :D
He's charming in both anime and game for me. But i like him a lot with short hair!
Kazama Oni (he's HOT..)
Isn't he just so so so so so HOT for an antagonist!!!??!?!
Well, he's one of the bachelor in the game.. I like him in the anime even though he's not bad. His intention is to just take Chizuru back since Chizuru is an oni.
Even though he acted that way, but i had a feeling that he's not THAT bad.. and seemed the type that will protect you no matter what,
So Chizuru, he's the man for you.
Saitou Hajime (*My bias!!)
Do i still need to state you the reason why he's my fav? Apparently, i found out that most ppl tend to like him as well.. i think in popularity ranking he's the first, then followed by either Hijikata or Okita.
Heisuke Todo
Doesn't he so much better with short hair? I can't stand seeing his long hair during the Edo period.. He looks so much mature as well with the short hair. Btw, he's the shota type. Keisuke Yamanami (Sannan)
This guys is creepy in the anime. He's like those good guys gone crazy because of stress.. He really freaks me out. I sensed that if i will EVER stayed around him, i better run.. =_= It's like he could turn you into an Oni or eat you up..
Harada Sanosuke
Don't know much about this guy...
Shinpachi Nagakura
He's the active and prankster type i guess? Very talkative and hyper throughout the episode.. and loves to show off.
Okita Souji
Soujiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!! My 2nd fav! Just by seeing his picture, you can tell what kind of guy he is right?
Yup, it's those playboy but nice type.
I really like him however.. he's got TBC.. which means that he will die... T^T

I seriously love him because of the game, especialy the ending..
