One Piece は も すき!!

Maybe Bisco Hatori wrote this manga after she came upon this resort on a magazine or internet somewhere,

or maybe this thing is built after that chapter of Ouran.

or maybe the builder itself is a fan of Ouran and Kyoya! haha

So here is the resort in the manga:

or if you miss them, and the pictures is not enoughf or you, go watch it HERE.

So, here's the REAL LIFE Ootori's Aqua Garden:

It does look similar isn't it?
Except that it's less bigger compare to Ootori's. Like in Ouran, there are deeper jungles, and we are missing the totem statue switch, as well as the crocodiles.. haha

This place is located in area between Berlin and Dresden, called Oceanside.
So apparently the roof was originally a"port" to store a HUGE plane. It was owned by a company that was working on the plane and stuff, but later a resort company takes over the ownership and they created that tropical resort. Apparently it will always be 79F throughout the year, so this place is just like a tropic island in winter.

random isn't it?

So if you have time, you can check out the place!

Yipeeee!!! Gotta do a post today to celebrate my good results!! Damn even though it came out good, for some reason i wasn't satisfied because one of the subject is just P.. T^T and i'm announcing this to the whole world.. this is sad.. =_=

Anyways here is the anime that i'll be reviewing today: KAIDAN RESTAURANT

Summary: is a Japanese children's storybook series. The books take the form of horror anthologies, edited by Miyoko Matsutani and illustrated by Yoshikazu Takai and Kumiko Katō.

Score: 6/10  but worth watching

Plot: 8/10
This is similar to xxxHolic, if you've watched the anime. Like telling different scary stories in each episodes.
There are three stories per episode, and they present it as if they are serving a food in a restaurant. Like, the scary story is the food. They've got appetizers, main, and dessert.

Dessert is normally a short story but most of the time the ending doesn't satisfy me. I mean, they wanted to keep it mysterious but sometimes it can't be kept so. It's hard to explain but if you watch it you'll understand.

For me, ep 1 and 2's stories are scary enough for an anime..
But the episodes after that are so so.

Maybe because it is an anime. Scary stories/movies are better if it is a live-action.

One way to enjoy horror anime / movie is to imagine yourself being in the position of the person.

Drawings can't really scare you. But if it is a manga, it is a different story.
Example, Ryuk from Death Note

I'll give you the drawing in manga, live-action, and anime, and you can see the comparison of which one is scarier.

Shit! I would've jizzed my pants if i saw the last pic in a nearby mart! X(
try staring at it for about 5 seconds.. it creeps you..

Personally, my most favourite story out of all is the sleeping princess, which was in episode 3
It's where a princess died and her coffin is kept in a church, and a guard has to watch over it every night. But one by one the guard disappeared. That is one scary shit if it really happens..

Characters: ...../10
I don't know what score to give for this one..
I mean,  when they are telling the stories, they are using the same character to picture it over and over again.
Always that yellow-haired guy, pink-haired girl, and black-haired girl, and a family..

Komoto Sho
The 'normal' guy who took alot of interest in supernatural thing.

 Ozora Ako
I can't stand her sometimes.. =_=
but she's pretty without glasses. Girls are always like that.

Sakuma Reiko

Ghastly Garcon

I assume he is Mexican? Spanish?
Oh and i heard there's a live-action movie for this:

Synopsis:
People are disappearing in Yamazakura City. There's a rumour going around the town that you'd get spirited away if you can't reply an email from the Death correcctly. When Aco's friend Mai goes missing, Aco, Sho and Reiko visits the haunted "Kaidan Restaurant" in search. Meanwhile, Mai's older sister Haru Amano starts investigating the case, trying to figure out the truth behind "Death's email".

Score: 8/10 because of the 3 seiyuu (Daisuke Ono, Hiroshi Kamiya, Jun Fukuyama)

Plot: 5/10
It does have a plot, but for some reason i just couldn't give it a high one. But i gotta admit that it is funny for most of the time, but it does not make me LOL.

Songs: 7/10
Their op and ed songs are not the type that you will like when you hear it for the first time, especially when you're not watching it. But after watching the 2nd episode, i'm starting to like it and find it funny.

Opening:

Ending:

Characters: 10/10 I love all the characters!

Takanashi Souta
(CV: Jun Fukuyama [Kuroshitsuji's Grell, Durarara's Shinra])

Hai~

This guy is Souta, the main character.
When i watched the first episode, i thought he's gonna be another dork character in an anime, but no! He's worse than a dork, in a funny way.
HE LOVES SMALL AND CUTE THINGS! as in.. small.. small, small in size.
Which is why he loves Popura because she's small or the harsh word : S H O R T.

My favourite quote of him is when he said: "Kids are cute but when i thought the fact that they will grow up, it disgusts me.."
Really showing his love for small and cute things~

and he's so cute when he was small~~

Yup, his siblings and parents made him crossdressed when he was small.
But even now when he crossdressed, he still looks AWESOME:

But i admire his little sister for some reason:

Jun Satou
(CV: Daisuke Ono [Kuroshitsuji's Sebastian])

Does he reminds you of this guy below?

Gosh! They really look alike! The only thing that's different is the eyebrow, Sanji has a curly one! Their personality is also a complete opposite.
Sanji is a perv while Jun is cool. But both are the same when it comes to girl, they kinda fail:

Both are unrequited.
At least Jun is not as pervy as Sanji. hahaha

I myself.. hmm.. I do like Sanji too.. but after seeing Jun...

 I'm in!!!!!

bye sanji..

Hiroomi Souma
[CV: Hiroshi Kamiya [Durarara's Izaya, Arakawa Under the bridge, Bakemonogatari])

My favourite of all!!!!
I started to wonder why Hiroshi Kamiya always voiced this kind of guy.. kinda typical Izaya.
He looks very nice outside but he learns everyone's dark secret and threaten them with them to do his work and other stuff. LOL
In real life you might hate this kind of person, but in anime they're the best!!!!

an example:

Jun found out that Yamada been packing the fridge with her Natto.

Souma jumps in, trying to be a good person by stopping Jun who was 'scolding' her.

and this is where his true selves revealed...

Reporting Yamada's crime so far with that smile, which led to...

Taneshima Popura

Awwwwwww i swear, this is the cutest girl in the anime!!! So chibi and kawaii!!! Goshh!

She might look like a grade schooler but she's actually in high school, alot of people has mistook her for elementary though.
Jun and Takanashi often tease her with her height.

and that hair looks so fluffy!!! I want to ruffled it like what Jun did to her.

and styling it..

Jun's hand is very skillful..

Todoroki Yachiyo

The mother-like normal worker who carries her sword with her all the time.
I thought she was normal... but no.. T^T
If i was served by a girl like her i might be startled when i saw her sword..
Apparently Jun has feelings for her.. but she's kinda lesbian towards Kyoko, the manager.

But i'm loving the DARK YACHIYO

Mahiru Inami

You can see that she's a shy girl and all~ and a man-phobia

Whenever she sees a guy, she'll itch to punch them like the picture above. She punched Takanashi, her crush, while blushing.. LOL

Shirafuji Kyoko

The manager of the shop. She was an ex-yankee during her high school times, and she helped Yachiyo when she was 'bullied'. Thanks to that, Yachiyo really looks up to her and follows her everywhere to the point that she started to like Kyouko.. =_=

She's a glutton too.

Yamada Aoi
(CV: Hirohasi Ryou [Baccano: Chane])

Out of all the girl characters, her voice is my favourite. Not too cute.. sounds normal yet girly at the same time, and i'm loving it.
She's the only one who could win over Souma. hahaha ;p
Won't say much about her bcs it's gonna be a spoiler :D

Otome Games... oh Otome Games.. WHY ARE YOU ONLY AVAILABLE IN JAPANESE!?!?!

Okay, see.

ONE. If you tell me to learn Japanese to be able to play it, imagine!
Maybe the moment i've mastered the Japanese needed to understand this is when i've lost interest in the games, which in another word = LOSS for you!

TWO. If you translate it and released it in english = PROFIT even though not tht much but at least enough to cover your cost for this production no?
EVIDENCE? Harvest Moon!

THREE. If you translate and released it in english = YOU ARE HELPING THE HUMANITY! Not only by making the english fandom comes true, but you are also decreasing the number of unemployment!

I've been eyeing Otome Games since few years ago, and IDEA FACTORY kinda gave us a ray of hope which been 'abandoned' 1 - 2 years ago.. =_= no news from them.

and recently Aksys just started taking an interest on english translation for Otome Games http://www.aksysgames.com/2010/10/07/we-know-you-love-surveys/

See, after waiting and waiting so patiently all these years, the lists of Otome Games i wished to play has piled up:
1. Ouran  High school Host club!

If you've read the manga or watch the anime, WHO WOULDN'T WANT THIS GAME??
Gosh.. I'm sure some ppl has lost their interest in desiring this game but moi doesn't..
See! See! See!!!
This is why i told you to translate it quickly before we all lose interest! Start pitying the english fandom like me who's still waiting for it..

2. Hakuouki
I think this anime has just started to become famous recently? Thanks to the bishies.
Apparently my review post about this anime has always been topping the number of views of all my posts in this blog.

 3. Hiiro no Kakera

One word... A W E S O M E.
I've decided to get the red-haired guy and the white-haired guy..

4. Fushigi Yuugi

I've liked this manga since long ago and found out like a few months after that they have the otome games.

5. Will O Wisp

6. Clock Zero

I'm dying to play this!! It looks sooooo good!

 7. Himehibi

8. Death Connection

Seems to be more of a boysih game but loving the scary arts. :)
Should be the same illustrator as Will O Wisp.

9. Real Code

GAHH! This game has a number of famous voice actors!
Let me note some: Hiroshi Kamiya, Miyano Mamoru, and Takashi Kondo!
yay!

 10. Starry☆Sky

This one shall be the best..
alot of famous seiyuu, and not to mention HEAPS OF BOYS!
Apparently i think this game has 4 different parts / separate CD game (I'm not sure, i haven't thoroughly check) and it's grouped in a different season, which in each season you met four guys.
I've set my eyes on the characters that my fav seiyuu are voicing. =p

Here are the links to the game main web:
spring
summer
fall
winter

as much as i like fall, i'd prefer to play spring and summer. Spring because there's Ono Daisuke in it, and summer with Kamiya Hiroshi & Fukuyama Jun.

Anyway, i'll start to write my next post about this game :D

Actually if you're impatient and wanted to know more about this game storyline and review, go HERE.
